William is still in critical but stable condition. A ventilator is still doing the breathing for him and for now it's a matter of time to give him rest and tomorrow they're going to try to get him to breath on his own.
His heart rate is down to 145 bpm. We want it under 120, but it has been as high as 205 and has averaged as high as 190 for nearly a whole day.
If he recovers fully it will be approximately 6 months from now (with surgery to "put him back together" in approximately 2 months.
For those of you who have asked, William cannot have visitors at this time. In fact Sarah & Danny are no longer even able to hold him.
They are SO grateful for the out pour of support that have felt thus far, and gratefully thank all those who have given and offered support and prayers.
Heidi I have never met your brother, but I love you and your dad, therefore my heart is broken for your family. Please tell them that we are praying without ceasing. Our God is big and powerful. He knows the pain and suffering that this little guy is going through.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless you,
love,
Alicia Lee (Mrs. Lee)
That you so much Mrs. Lee. We appreciate all the love and support we have felt from friends, family, & the community in general. We do feel blessed with this out pour of love. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHeidi,
ReplyDeleteThe amount of faith and love your family has is truly astounding. We were absolutely gobsmacked to hear of Dan's new calling--not that he was extended the calling, but that it was extended NOW. Please tell Sarah & Dan that they are an amazing example of love, faith and endurance to their friends and family. We miss them beyond measure in the University Heights ward, and love and pray for them and Will's medical team constantly.
